NHS, Private practice and voluntary
Sherridan is an International Board Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and has been working with families in this field since 2007. She currently supports women in two different Central London hospitals, as well as running community drop-ins and home visits.
Her commitment to improve the experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood has led her to train as a doula. She has a belief that birth can instigate a powerful change within a woman, and her desire to ensure the best possible start in life for parents and babies convinced her to become a Birth Companion.
Sherridan lives in Islington, North London but is happy to travel a reasonable distance for a home visit. She can offer specialist care and guidance for mothers according to their individual needs. She aims to give mothers practical and emotional support to reach their breastfeeding goals in a non-judgmental manner, using current research and information.
