NHS hospitals or community settings and voluntary breastfeeding supporters

◦ Home visits may not be available

Private practitioners
◦ No set rate - fees vary between practitioners and mileage may be charged.
◦ Consultations may be offered at the LC's work base in addition to home visits.
◦ All LCs practicing privately should have professional indemnity insurance - please check this on your first contact.
